When is the best time to travel to Siem Reap?

Being a tropical country, Cambodia has a quite high average temperature with 2 main seasons: wet and dry seasons. The period between November to May is the dry season in Siem Reap. It is said that this is an ideal time to visit this area because of the supporting weather. It is cool and dry so you can enjoy your whole holiday without worrying about rains. You can walk around the town or cycle comfortably under this weather. However, this also the high season of the year so you have to face a lot of problems due to too many tourists. It is quite hard for you to book a hotel, find a decent room and to have a comfortable space as well. Built in 12 th century by the King Suryavarman II, the architecture of Angkor Wat temples is unique, classical and beautiful with millions of blocks of stone that combine together to construct such temples. Pub Street is an ideal site for someone who loves shopping and acquiring more knowledge of Cambodian culture. After a day travelling around Angkor, you can enjoy your evening on Pub Street. Local cuisine is already on the street, just try fish amok and combodian barbeque. There are also a lot of souvenir shops and markets on the sides of the street. Tonle Sap Lake

Being one of the largest lakes in Asia, here is the best place for exhilrating experience about floating village. You will travel by boat to get Chong Kneas village with the boat ticket costs $40. This a good chance for you to experience fishing  and explore the life styles of local people here.
