How to get there?
Grabbing a tuk tuk is the best way to get there. Each will spend about 30,000 kip for round-trip tuk tuk. Although it does not cost much, you have to wait for enough people before leaving. To get there, the ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour. You will need to agree on a time as a group as the driver will wait at the entrance for you to return before heading back.

Free the bears
When walking towards the falls, you will certainly pass by Tat Kuang Si Rescue Centre where you can make a stop to visit the bears. You can learn more through the signs with information about the bears and the rescue center as well. If you want to donate to the cause, purchasing a t-shirt is not a bad idea.
You will definitely be greeted by various waterfalls, pools of blue water and signs that teach you more about the fauna once you continue to head down the path. It is highly recommended for you to stop to dip into the water for a swim. Just note that to avoid being stared at, there is no better choice than dressing conservatively.
Keep following the path, which is past the bridge if you want to hike up to the top. From here, you will take a short hike of 20 minutes to the stairs.
Go past the stairs instead of heading it up if you want to see the secret spot. Until you reach a pool of water and waterfall, you need to head down the rocks from here. To get to the spot from the stairs, it takes you about 15 minutes. You can see a little cave if you head behind the waterfall.
Trekking a lush forest trail that winds through peaceful local villages and offers spectacular views of Lao mountain landscapes is the best way to see the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall.
