1.   Bom Chaul Chnam festival

This is the largest festival of the Cambodian people, Chaul Chnam Bom (festival of rice harvest) to be held on April 13 to April 15 of the calendar. In these days, people meet and splash everybody with water to believe in a good harvest next year. This festival is also held in Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.

2.   Bam Dak Ben and Pchonum Ben festival

Held on April 11 to October 13 each year, this festival is in memory of the deceased. In these days, people come to the temple to worship, and thank the monks. People will bring food to the monks. Travel to Cambodia

3.   Prathen

Usually held in October during 29 days and nights, this is the major Buddhist festival of the year. People held large groups to the temple where monks are in yellow costume.

4.   Chol Chnam Thmay 

In the New Year’s Day, people celebrated New Year festival – New Year Chnam Thmay Chol. During the three holidays (13 – 15/4 annually), the country’s air is bustling with bright lights from the temple to the roads leading to the Royal Palace. In Eve, all families make nice lanterns and bring them to drop on the lake. Thousands of sparkling lights drifting on the river and it is believed that the house with prettiest and brightest lights sparkling all night will meet many good things in the next year.
